Lebanon Creek Hike

Where:

  • Lebanon Creek

When:

  • June 21, 2022

Who:

  • Ed, Sheldon

Trailhead:

  • the trailhead is located at 5307 Lakeshore Road at the parking lot on the side away from the lake
  • it is about a 20 minute drive from downtown or 10 minutes from the Lower Mission area
  • the trailhead starts out of the far end of the parking lot
  • it starts out climbing a staircase

Degree of difficulty:

  • 400 meters of elevation gain
  • 6.4 km out and back
  • the trail is steep most of the way to the top but is well maintained and not technically difficult
  • the hike took us one and a half hours

Interesting notes:

  • the hike can be extended at the top by going along Elk Trail to Crag’s Trail and back to Lebanon Creek
  • there are great views all the way up and especially at the top of the City of Kelowna and all the surrounding areas
  • you can watch people mountain climbing on the crags at the top
